Welcome!  This site is dedicated to strategic planning for the School of
Economics and Business Administration (SEBA) at Saint Mary's College of
California.   Currently, the business and management programs at Saint Mary's
are preparing materials for review and accreditation by the Association to
Advance Collegiate Schools of Business-International (AACSB).

This website contains key planning documents that support our AACSB
initiative, including application forms, strategic planning documents, and
consultants' reports.  There are links to AACSB standards and other academic
resources.

At Saint Mary's College, various Task Forces began meeting during summer,
2004, to identify where our business and management programs stand relative to
AACSB standards and our own understanding of best practices toward achieving
our goals.  Strategies for improvement are being identified, in the areas of
strategic management, faculty sufficiency, curriculum and assurance of
learning, etc.

Draft reports from these Task Forces are posted on this website, along
with "threaded discussion" of issues that are important to our stakeholders. 
It is my wish that all interested parties will joint these discussions, and
share insights via this website, so that our strategic planning process can
benefit from the widest and most insightful collaborative wisdom.
